Which package fits your goal
Band in the live room is €115 per hour, half day €405 (four hours), full day €745 (eight hours) — prices incl. VAT. One song with standard setup and three to five takes often fits a half day. EP sessions or many amp swaps need a full day.
Allow travel time: Take U-Bahn line U3 to Neubaugasse; from there it is about a 4-minute walk along Neubaugasse. Tram lines 49 and 13 also stop at Neubaugasse or Siebensterngasse, each a short walk away. From Wien Westbahnhof, U3 is one stop towards Simmering.. Load-in on Neubaugasse is tight — bass and keys first, drum kit last with a helper. Book via contact; 30% deposit per terms, free reschedule up to 4 days ahead.
Preparation one week ahead
Send set list, tempo per song, target arrangement lengths and references (live or studio). Note who uses amp, modeller or DI. Multiple guitar amps: order of changes — each swap costs twenty to forty minutes including soundcheck.
Tune instruments and change strings early, not in the room. Drummers: fresh heads only if played in; otherwise overheads sound wobbly. Bring spare sticks, cables, tuners and personal in-ears.

Two songs without amp changes makes the take block tight — choose a full day or one strong title.
Full day: more songs, more breaks
Eight hours is not eight hours of non-stop playing. We schedule two short breaks and a meal break (you arrange food — bakeries and takeaway are walkable in Neubau). Mornings: setup plus first song; afternoons: second and third songs or vocal overdubs in the iso booth.
With 32 desk inputs and 20 mics in house we can add room mics and DI splits. Fewer loud amps at once still means less bleed — agree levels beforehand.
Headphone mix and click
Everyone needs a stable cue — otherwise timing and tuning drift. Bring familiar headphones; we have spares. Click: fixed BPM per song, agree count-in. Playing without click needs loud room reference — more bleed and fewer edit options later.
Leaky headphones on drum mics are common; speak up early. A bad mix for half a day costs more than ten minutes of adjustment up front.
What we handle on site
Engineer, mic choice, preamps, recording to our systems, basic take organisation. We mark amp positions with gaffer tape — please do not move them before the session. Snare tuning and light drum tweaks are included; full retune after every song is not.
After session: multitrack WAV per source or as agreed. Raw data kept 24 months. Mix in-house or elsewhere: stem delivery guide and Stem mixing from €195 per track.
Neighbours and volume in Vienna
Our building in Neubau mixes housing and business. Sessions run Tuesday–Friday 9:00–20:00, Saturday 10:00–16:00. Closed Sunday and Monday. — no overnight tracking. Very loud amp walls are rarely needed; DI reamp or quiet amp close-miked often mixes better.
Parking in 1070 is limited — plan garages or public transport. Heavy kits: two people on the stairs avoid wall damage and save time.
