How we work at Mumbocetra
On Neubaugasse we capture vocals in the iso booth, bands in the live room and conversations in the podcast setup — always with someone at the desk who knows the routing and exports. Bring references and material; we will tell you plainly what fits your slot.
Every enquiry gets a written quote with date, scope and price including 20% VAT. The slot is reserved only after you accept and pay the 30% deposit. Cancellation and withdrawal rules are in our terms and conditions.

Lead and backing vocals in the iso booth with an engineer, pop filter and voice-tailored monitoring.

Mumbocetra GmbH has run Mumbocetra since 2019 at Neubaugasse 40, 1070 Wien. The live room is about 44 m², plus a control room with 32 inputs and an iso booth for vocals.
Hours: Tue–Fri 9–20, Sat 10–16 — sessions by appointment so bookings do not overlap. Directions: Take U-Bahn line U3 to Neubaugasse; from there it is about a 4-minute walk along Neubaugasse. Tram lines 49 and 13 also stop at Neubaugasse or Siebensterngasse, each a short walk away. From Wien Westbahnhof, U3 is one stop towards Simmering.

Prepare your voice: make the most of a vocal session
In our iso booth at Mumbocetra in Wien, time matters — not because we rush you, but because a rested voice delivers usable takes faster. This guide helps you arrive with lyrics, references and body ready so the engineer can focus on tone and performance.
Delivering stems: a clean handoff for online mixing
Our Stem mixing begins on your drive, not on the faders. Consistent names, aligned song starts and clear references mean we spend the included 2 revision rounds on sound, not on hunting files.
Band schedule in the live room: from setup to usable takes
Recording drums, bass, guitars and keys at once saves overdubs — if setup, headphone mixes and breaks are planned. In Mumbocetra’s 44 m² live room in Wien we block the day so a €405 or €745 booking yields usable tracks.

How fast do you send a quote?
Usually within 2 working days by email, with a slot proposal and price including 20% VAT. Without the deposit the date stays open.
How much deposit is required?
30% of the agreed total by transfer to reserve the slot. It is credited against the balance — see terms.
Can I cancel at short notice?
More than 4 calendar days before: free. Closer to the date the deposit may be retained; one reschedule is possible by agreement. Full rules in terms.
What does a vocal hour cost?
List rate for Vocals & singing: €98 per hour incl. VAT, engineer and iso booth. Half and full days lower the hourly cost — rate list.
How long do you keep project files?
Session backups and project data for 24 months after the last service, then deletion — keep your own copies. Details in privacy policy and terms.
Can minors record?
From age 16 with a legal guardian who books and pays. For podcast guests see guest releases.
